An Assembly Production Engineer is required to join this expanding and successful manufacturer based in the Thanet area. Principal responsibilities include assembly shop floor production engineering, working closely with Design Engineers in order to optimise designs for assembly, generating work instructions, improving productivity and providing support to the purchasing department. Essential experience includes jig and fixture design, build and prove out, knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, an analytical approach to problem solving and a sound practical engineering background.
