A leading and prestigious retailer based in Cambridgeshire is searching for a buyer / department manager for their gifts and Christmas department.This particular department has a huge turnover seasonally and is a high profile one within the business. Main responsibilities will be to:: Manage the store department including a team of 2 to 3 sales assistants, more at Christmas: Source products mainly from the UK from various agents and attend trade fairs: Negotiate with suppliers current and new and ensure product is bought at the optimum price.: Set retail prices for the product ensuring a profitable margin is obtained.: Ensure visual merchandising is commercial and suitable for the department...
