Product designers must work in close collaboration with the senior marketing and creative design directors to whom they are reporting.

It is important to plan efficiently whenever working in positions with deadlines.
A degree in design or another related industry is required. However, it is also beneficial to have a background in some sort of marketing or advertising role. Experience in a similar position is an advantage. Starting salaries for this position usually range between £20,000 and £25,000, although a position in the games field in a large company may see a higher wage, especially in relation to experience.
