The post involves a combination of hands-on pharmacy practice and the maintenance and development of the Trust’s evidence-based formulary and associated documents (including prescribing charts and clinical guidelines). The post-holder will work closely with consultant medical staff and will be an active member of the Trust’s Drugs & Therapeutics Committee. George Eliot Hospital is a friendly, medium sized District General Hospital in the north of Warwickshire, which is currently pursuing Foundation Trust status. The main pharmacy department includes an inpatient/TTO dispensary (fitted with a Mach 4 robot), ward stock distribution, medicines information, and an MHRA- licensed aseptic unit. Our...
