The position is for an experienced MSSQL database administrator and the supported systems utilise MSSQL versions 2000 and 2005. Responsibilities include database performance tuning and optimisation, backup and recovery and contingency. Systems are supported on a 24x7x365 basis, to challenging service level agreement targets for availability, incident and problem management, etc. The role is to provide support for multiple MSSQL database systems, at both v2000 and v2005, maintaining the highest possible service levels and achieving challenging contractual targets.
