  I just finished a course as an electrician and I'm ready to start straight away. the jobs I keep finding require experience and if you don't have experience the wages are lower. Does that make sense? What should I expect for an electrician's mate? I have no idea what i can accept and what not

    It makes sense that experience counts and as a consequence that it's reflected in the salary. Now, the amounts to expect will depend on the company based on location and specific description of the post and the types of jobs that they do. A way of having a reference, apart from gathering information at interviews, can be the jobisjob trend section I've often found it useful. I hope this helps.
