Hours include protected study time, meetings, clinics, teaching sessions, etc. There is strong departmental emphasis placed on teaching. Ideal preparation for MRCPCH. Applicants must have at least 6 months UK experience. The Children’s Hospital incorporates medical/surgical wards, neonatal intensive care unit, PICU and a dedicated 24-hour paediatric A&E department. The unit is also a regional centre for neonatal surgery and cystic fibrosis.
