Part of the Directorate of Pathology, the Microbiology Specialty consists of the departments of Virology, Immunology, Parasitology and Clinical Microbiology. We provide a comprehensive diagnostic and reference service to University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, local Primary Care Trusts and other NHS Trusts. The Microbiology Specialty is CPA accredited and is recognised by the HPC and IBMS as a training laboratory.
