The postholder will be expected to work across the full range of the maternity service providing woman centred care as part of the multidisciplinary team. The role will include oncall commitments and rotation throughout all areas of the midwifery service but principally based within the Wisbech community team and the satellite unit at the North Cambridgeshire Hospital. The maternity service is committed to woman focussed care and supporting choice within the department for a varied caseload. The role will encompass caseholding within the team providing health education and maternity care to vulnerable woman and health promotion activity around pregnancy and maternal and fetal nutrition...
