Interesting role to join a growing team of IT application support consultants in Bracknell in a senior backline, technically challenging role. The applications run on both Unix platforms ( Solaris, AIX and HP-UX, Linux ) and Microsoft environments. The applications are developed in Java/ J2EE - so experience of Java would be very useful. Comprehensive knowledge of databases is necessary with one of the major vendors on the market Oracle, SQL Server and/or DB2/UDB. Candidates will also have a solid web technology background: web servers, html, xml, http, firewalls, networks etc. Even better if you are competent with one or more Application and Web servers...
