  • Night shifts Last updated by Adele: 21-Apr-2017

I'd like to work in a hotel reception. I'm good with people and can speak French, Italian and Spanish -currently studying Chinese). It seems to me that there're little options to get a job that doesn't mean erratic timetables -as in night shifts- Can somebody advice as to whether this is always the case? Thanks!

    • Not at all Karen. You can often find offers for either just day shifts or night shifts. Maybe not all hotels offer them, but definitely the possibility exists. Have you tried searching for hotel receptionist day shifts? I must say, though, that you have to search quite a bit, as the working hours are sometimes not specified in the job offer...

      • Thank you Adele. I've also been told by someone else that the possibility exists, I'll just have to find it :-) I had been trying with small hotels, maybe I should try some of the bigger ones. Cheers
