Applications are invited from enthusiastic candidates for a Medical Technical Officer (MTO) or Trainee Medical Technical Officer (Trainee MTO) post to work within our busy, friendly and supportive mortuary team at Salford Royal Hospital. The hospital is situated in the City of Salford and the hospital mortuary also serves as the district mortuary for Salford. The workload of the mortuary deals with around 2000 bodies per year with approximately 600 cases requiring post mortems for HM Coroner. The Regional Neuropathology service is based at the hospital and this post offers the opportunity to learn and practice specialist skills relating to Neuropathology post mortems...
