To provide Help desk support for on-site and remote users. Maintenance of asset register. Documenting configuration changes. Operating a help desk service for a range of clients. Providing expert support for both desktops and servers. Security management. Diagnosis of faults on servers, desktops, laptops. Any other duties conducive with the effective operation of the post which are deemed to be within the post-holders competence. Good working knowledge of MS Office, Windows XP, Vista and Windows Server 2003 (including Active Directory and Exchange), TCP/IP Networks, VPN's, Citrix, Firewalls.
