This is a relatively new post resulting from the development of Intermediate Care Services within the Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University NHS Trust. Although the post has commitments to Acute General Medicine, its main focus is the development of Intermediate Care services. This will be reflected in the development of services at Community hospitals at Maesteg & Maesgwyn, and the Day Hospitals at the Princess of Wales & Maesteg Units. The post provides a good and rounded experience for those considering a career in Care of the Elderly and/or Intermediate Care.
