Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust was formed on the 1st July 2006 bringing together the South Yorkshire Ambulance Service, West Yorkshire Metropolitan Ambulance Service and North and East Yorkshire parts of the Tees, East and North Yorkshire Ambulance Service. Dispatchers are responsible for the coordination and deployment of all Accident and Emergency ambulance resources to meet the demands of the service and to ensure we get help to patients as soon as possible. Using the Computer Aided Dispatch system, you will constantly monitor the service response times to patients; liaising directly with ambulance staff out on the road to ensure patients receive the best response to their needs...
