Reports to Head of Maintenance and Facilities. Has direct responsibility for electrical and instrument technicians together with indirect responsibility for discretional spend on the maintenance cost center although no responsibility for budgeting or forecasting. Will review and advise on courses of action in response to changes in workplace regulations to ensure that all electrical systems and installations, together with any supporting documentation/certification complies with the requirements of the regulatory bodies (FDA, HSE, etc.).
