The major function of this post is to ensure that parking regulations are policed and where contravened are enforced, issuing tickets, liaising and dealing with motorists and/or the general public. The successful candidate will act as a parking ambassador and will be required to assist the public and partnership agencies on parking related issues. The role involves accurate record keeping and issuing penalty notices in accordance with agreed policies. This will involve some paperwork and record keeping which must be accurate and the completion of various associated administrative duties as necessary.
