1. To support work of the Purchase Ledger, which will include inputting payment requisitions and, following approvals, to co-ordinate the payment run (in conjunction with the Accounts Assistant) and issue cheques when necessary. 5. To issue manual cheques and arrange bank transfers (subject to policy and having gained the necessary authorisation), ensuring that the necessary documentation is maintained. 6. To prepare and bank cash and cheques on a daily basis, to withdraw cash as required and to ensure accurate and prompt input of the cash journal onto the system. 8.
