Fraud Analyst

The role of the fraud analyst is becoming increasingly crucial in the world of business as new ways to create scams arise due to changing methods of doing business. Nowadays, the fraud analyst is an indispensable part of many modern companies. The position requires the ability to minutely scrutinise data and decide whether a case is fraudulent or not
Day to day duties include such tasks as report writing, monitoring client accounts, communicating with clients on a regular basis through phone calls and emails; some of the more recent tasks include the monitoring of fraudulent websites. The job requires excellent organisational skills and the ability to work well with others
The ideal candidate for a job as a fraud analyst would have a university degree in finance, management information systems and have at least two years’ experience in dealing with information security controls. Other requirements include the ability to organise and manage time and great attention to detail. The average salary for this position is around £38,000.
