  Do you know if I need specific training to be a paid home carer? My grandparents have always lived with my family and I’ve seen them being taken care of. I’ve always looked up to the carers that did it and have always had the inkling to doing something like this.

    Unless you’ve had previous experience you’ll be asked to have/get a care cert, this is normally done during a 12 week intro programme. You also need DBS clearance.
