  • British/Italian Carlotta

I’m half Italian half British. I was born in Italy to an English father and an Italian mother, but left at a very early age and have grown up in the UK. I trained as a Social Media/Community Manager and need to complement my salary with some part time. I’m considering teaching Italian, as I’m a native speaker and also took Italian lessons while at uni. Can I teach in language schools if I don’t have specific training?

    • Elena:

If you’re looking to work for a language school you do. There are plenty of schools that offer very good courses, and if you’re a native speaker you shouldn’t have much of a problem. Also, if you’ve trained as Sm manager, you’ve probably got some insight into psychology, which is also an important issue when it comes to teaching.
