Domestic
Do I need to have specific studies to work as a domestic gardener? I don't have any training but I know I'm good for a fact because I've always had plants and flowers both in and outside the home and I've often been able to revive those of my friends, when they thought they were not looking well.

It'll depend on the case. Some employers just won't take anybody who has't got a course or certificate to account for their knowledge. Others will be happy to offer an entry position. This works well for both parties. They can offer more modest wages and you needn't have taken any courses. Plus they get to 'train' you to do the job the way they like it. In the area of gardening you can find both, in other areas, like child minding more often than not you're asked to have some sort of formal training.31-May-2017

There's also a happy medium, which is: when you're asked for proof of experience you may not be required to have formal training though yes provable experience and references.31-May-2017
