My ideal job is Training new staff in how to look after individuals with Dementia. Teaching skills that will help them relate to the illness and how best to give good care on a personal level . Many staff do not understand how gestures and body language can help with giving good care, knowing how to effectively communicate with an individual with Dementia can be the most important part of care. It promotes trust which in turn leads to an excellent foundation to giving good all round care. I do not believe that this is something that is simply taught it grows form experience and contact with Dementia sufferers .19-Apr-2016
