  I’d like to get a part time job in a call centre, but I’m a bit reticent as I get the feeling that mentally you have to be a very strong person. I’m a student and have the fear that I may find it too stressful during exam terms. Has anybody got any experience in this field?

    I have worked in a call centre, and It’s fairly demanding emotionally speaking in that you’ve got to have patience, resilience and have to be able to obviate the tone of some of the calls you may get. But it’s also true that it all comes down to your attitude. If you take it with a pinch of salt and learn to take distance, it’s not at all a bad option as a part time job for a student.
