16 I have a family situation where I look after my elderly parents (my kids are grown now) I need to work and can do so in the mornings but I'm finding it difficult to find a job. Is it not common anymore to work 16h part time?

I have been working 16h for a while now. The only thing that can often happen is that the contract is not for a long time. I’ve had one for 1.5yrs and one for 9 months (just finished).

Maybe this wouldn’t be the most common job for 16hrs… I don’t know... Bosses tend to want their secretaries to be around as much as possible in case they need things done ...
