High School Teacher job description

High School Teachers monitor the educational development of students while they are attending High School. They are in charge of the students daily well being while at school. They prepare lessons, monitor student performance, make recommendations and set tests. These Teachers are responsible for ensuring that students behave within the school rules. They are also expected to liaise with the parents and guardians of their students.
High School Teachers are well paid and typically work five days per week for approximately eight hours a day; but they also spend time marking papers and preparing lessons. They get breaks during the Summer and vacation holidays to recoup and relax.
A High School Teacher usually performs many of the following tasks:
