Corporate finance managers and advisors are expected to deal with mergers and acquisitions, management buyout and other major takeovers and share offerings. Job holders are expected to be motivated and able to work under pressure, and to have a wealth of experience of transaction and commercial analysis
Successful applicants for positions in this field will be certified accountants with CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualification. Previous transaction and advisory experience and excellent communication and presentation skills are requisites for most positions. Individuals need to be able to liaise with company management, shareholders and clients.
There are openings for candidates mainly in the Home Counties, central London and other big cities such as Leeds or Birmingham. Annual remuneration packages range from £30,000 for beginners up to £120,000 for people in senior or management positions at large corporations.
