Data Cabling Engineers are responsible for cable pulling and laying in a company. They are required to fix errors and rectifying them. These engineers may install fiber cables and networks according to company needs.

Data Cabling Engineers usually perform the following tasks:

• Solving issues related to cables and networks.
• Finding errors.

Data Cabling Engineer jobs ideally require of PASMA or IPAF and CSCS Card, but it is not compulsory. There is also a need to have four GCSE’s (A-C) grades (1-4), including English and math. It is suitable to have an engineering related degree with two A levels.

It is also recommended to have a foundation degree, BTEC HNC/HND in engineering (or similar).
