Hello, Currently, I work as care giver for old people but I don’t have any certificate of care Assistant. Is it required to have a certificate for care assistant?

I would like to start to work in social care sector. Currently, I'm a volunteer but I need to earn money for paying my rent. Can you recommend a company for starting to work? Thanks!
