I was working in one school and I didn't have very good relationship with the director. There was no reason just personal enmity. And at the end I had to leave the school. And she doesn't want to prepare recommendation letter that they ask me to present in other schools. So what? I will not be able to find other job?

My mom doesn't want me to go to the Faculty of Education and doesn't understand my desire to work as a teacher. She thinks that it is not a good job and not well-paid at all. How can I convince her?

Hi I am finding it a real struggle to find a teaching assistant job in schools. Whenever I do get interviews the jobs always seem to go to younger applicants. Has anyone else experienced this or is it just me? How do you get schools to value life experience?
