New graduates can expect to earn at least £20,000 while studying for their accounting qualifications. Many auditors study with ACCA, while those working in the public sector usually work towards CIPFA qualifications. Once qualified, £35,000 is attainable. However, those working in the most senior roles can earn up to £80,000, especially in sectors such as IT, banking or engineering.
