flower arrangements
flower arrangements can sometimes be a boring -when not sorry- sight. Lately you can see improvements in style and so on and it'll probably get better thanks to pinterest and the likes. Can't anybody see that the old square arrangements have no effect anymore? I like to introduce new ideas and concepts, it's soo exciting. problem is that people tend to assume that the cost goes up and sometimes they don't even approach you for fear that it's too expensive.
Marge
- I totally agree, I'm a florist too, and I also enjoy introducing new concepts and materials. It makes the arrangement -and my job- so much more exciting. I remember the last florist shop where i worked. there, to overcome potential customer fears, we made sure to display fancy arrangements in our shop window with the cost right beside them. It worked wonders, to be honest. There's, though, a lot of work to be done towards helping people realise that an elaborate flower arrangement does not necessarily go hand in hand with high costs.
- Isn't it amazing how time and again people's perceptions -and our own- can be so mistaken? I've surprised -gladly- many a customer with an beautiful and unusual arrangement for a very affordable price. I love doing it!
