Inbound call centre jobs are usually based outside London in the provinces, Scotland or Ireland. Handling inbound calls from customers on a variety of issues from complaints, to information through orders and information, call centre staff normally work in shifts. Call centre jobs are not the best paid, but can be part- as well as full-time, suitable for students or working mothers. Expect a wage of around £8 an hour part-time or around £16,000 for full-time work.
