Those working in this position tend to be well-experienced; nearly half of all current nurse managers have over 20 years experience. As a consequence, this means that those working in this position tend to be well-paid, earning between £30,000 and £40,000. Most managers also tend to be women; 75 per cent of those working in this position are female.
