Saturdays and Sundays
I'm considering a weekend position (Saturdays & Sundays) as a nurse but I'm wondering why the pay difference is so big. I have reservations as it looks like working weekends a nurse gets the equivalent to any other nurse working 40h (weekdays). What am I to expect? I'd appreciate some feedback in this respect.

- You get incentive pay primarily because you're working precisely when others want to be off. That's OK for a while and the money is good. However, think twice and long before commiting to it for a long time, as personal, family and social life are greatly affected. Be aware, as well, that you don't get merit raises.
