I am very shy, since my childhood I've been shy. So I thought that working as a shop assistant could help me to overcome my shyness. So I want to start. But what if I start working and do it badly and I will not help people to find what they are looking for just because I am shy. Do you think it is a good idea?

What is your opinion: is it better to work in small boutiques or in the big malls as a shop assistant? Thank you!

I was a professional product photographer for 8 yrs at a big company and now I am trying to get some sort of part time work in the same role. I have relinquished my driving licence and will have to rely on public transport within 10mile radius of where I now live. Has anyone been in this situation before and able to give any helpto me.
