I've been a vintage car mechanic for 20 years and I'd like a change in my career working more often with modern cars. I feel comfortable with modern engines, and although I'm not as familiar with computer electronics I'm confident I can learn really fast. I'm looking for some course in this area, more than for the training itself, so as to proof that I can do the job. Suggestions more than appreciated!

Mechanics are required to repair and maintain different types of vehicles, such as lorries, motorcycles, vans, cars, coaches, and buses. They perform restorative and preventative work on gears, brakes, engine, air conditioning, security features, fuel pump, etc. These workers test new vehicles to find faults and carry out routine servicing of cars.

A Mechanic usually performs many of the following tasks:
• Reading technical drawings.
• Advising customers about technical issues.
• Testing vehicles.
• Using diagnostic equipment.
• Replacing faulty parts.
