Studying for five years is the requirement for becoming a Dentist and then one must proceed to being supervised for a couple more years. Dental Nurses may have nursing training and Hygienists have diplomas in their speciality. Therapists are required to study for no less than two years.
There are more than a dozen dental schools in the United Kingdom that offers quality training and certification. After completing their training, professionals must be certified by the General Dental Council (GDC).
