I worked for this company for almost 2 month and I can say that their advertised weekly income is a BIG LIE. First of all you have to now that you will deliver parcels for AMAZON. There are around 7 or 8 different companies that deliver parcels for AMAZON from Hedge End, Southampton. ONE MOTION LOGISTICS is the worst of them all when it comes to what they promise you and what they deliver. Please be very careful before committing to work with this company. For 5 working days per week you will only get around £300, for 6 day per week you will get around £400 and so on, after they take their van rental rate. AND THIS IS A SELF EMPLOYED POSITION. So a BIG BIG difference in what they promise and what they deliver Your first weekly payment will come after 4 or 5 weeks after you started and in meantime, you will have to pay for your diesel. And by the way they don't pay you in full for the fuel , just a fraction. So before you receive your first salary you will have to spend from your own wallet for the fuel. You will receive only £0.15 per mile for fuel, and you will drive on average around 100 miles per day. And a tank full of diesel will only be enough for 4 days maybe 4 days and a half. So only in fuel you are looking at a loss of£30 - £40 per week. The daily rate , once again is a BIG LIE. They say you will be paid £115 per day but you will only get £100 per day, as £15 is the bonus that you should receive only if you have no complains on your route. When you go to the induction day you are being told that you will get your bonus if you do your job. BUT THERE IS A CATCH: you will receive that bonus only if the other drivers receive their bonuses. Meaning if one driver in screws up, none will receive their bonuses. So far none of the drivers received their bonuses. Me and other drivers suspecting that ONE MOTION receives our bonuses from AMAZON but they hold it back, as the other companies are paying the bonuses to their drivers. And have I mentioned that you will pay for the van rental as well? You will pay £23/day for the van rental + VAT. this makes it approx £200 per week for van rental no matter how many days you work, either 3 or 5 or 7, you will pay approx £200 per week. They say you only have to do around 80+ drops per day. WHAT A HUGE LIE. The reality is that you will have to do on average 140-150 drops per day. HOW on earth they came with £900 per week is beyond me, so please don't be fulled to believe that this is a dream job. NOT EVEN CLOSE
