Site Management

Working in every sector of business, site management provides supervision of a specific location or business branch. The goal of these managers is to ensure customers are satisfied and the business is running smoothly. They oversee every aspect of the business and must be well-trained in their particular field
Since the main responsibility of a site manager is to provide excellent customer service, they need to have superior communication and interpersonal skills. Time management and the ability to adapt to new environments quickly and efficiently are also important qualities.
These hands-on managers have many duties, including hiring, training and supervising staff, keeping with budgets and working closely with customers to solve problems. A Bachelors degree is usually required to get into site management, along with experience and training in the specific industry
Jobs can be found in myriad industries, from information technology and purchasing to commercial cleaning and document management. Salaries range widely depending on the business, and usually include a performance bonus based on the satisfaction of the customers. Expect around £33,000 per year with this position.
