Event Organiser

Event Organisers are responsible for the conception and production of company events including everything from product launches, exhibitions and conferences to fundraising events. The job also involves market research and making proposals to internal and external agencies, working as part of a team. The management of a financial budget is another key task
The position requires excellent organisational skills and the ability to see a project through to completion while working under pressure. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to use initiative and effectively prioritise an extensive workload is a crucial requirement, as is stress management
The average salary for this position is £18,000 per year. A successful applicant would need experience in project management and be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills as well as computer competency and the ability to produce reports and proposals. No formal qualifications are necessary, but a bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject would be helpful.
