  I’d like to know what I need to do in order to get a job as a shoe manufacturing operative.

    There are different ways to get in. Sometimes although you have no experience, if you have good practical skills, you may be given a test at the interview to evaluate your skills, and if you succeed you get the job, and sometimes further training on site. Previous practical experience in shoe repairs can be a great help.

      You can also get there through an apprenticeship, and definitely if you have a college course in footwear or fashion you should have no problem.
