Milton Keynes Julie Last updated by Sharon: 13-Feb-2017
I’d like to move to Milton to be nearer my elderly parents and I’m wondering whether finding jobs there would be complicated. I’ve been looking a bit and it doesn't look like it should be much more difficult than in other places. If anything it looks like it’s quite healthy from the point of view of working opportunities. I’m a hairdresser by profession and I’d say I’d be ok. I have 2 kids and another of my concerns is their schooling.

Milton is a very dynamic and busy place. I’d say you won’t have any problems with finding work. Try searching online to see what’s out there, but it’s got a very healthy economy. As for schooling, you’ve got plenty of options of all kinds. Public transport is also great in routes and frequencies. My daughter moves around a lot in public transport and she’s delighted.

Don’t forget leisure Kim. There’re plenty of amenities throughout the week all year round. A great place to live, honest!
