I'm a pharmacy graduate and I'm finding it difficult to find work. I'm considering applying as an assistant, it's just I don't know what wages to expect...

    • 9 to 18G BP per hour i think is the common rate. It'll depend on the area and the sector.

    • Hello Jasmine, although your thread was posted over a year ago, I think I can help you with regards to what you are going through. There are so many people who want jobs they do not need and need jobs they do not want. Instead of sending application letters that would notch you an interview that is not coming, why don't you try Concerned Letters that would notch you an unofficial job interview as an assistant.

As an ex nurse I am finding it hard to even get interviews. I am at a loss what to do.

    • Hey Sandy. there are so many people like you out there who are looking out for interviews and one thing that I can say is that you might still be using the unconventional methods of sending application letters. You should not send prospective health institutions your skill set and degrees or on a larger scale, certifications. What I would like you to do is what I normally call Sending Concerned Cover Letters NOT Application Letters. The Concerned Letters would help provide more details about the institution and how you might be better help them solve their respective problems and meet their mission and vision, instead of just focusing on you, you and you in your application letters. Try that
