Forum Police Vehicle Technician

  • How to Ian

I’m very interested in becoming a technician for official vehicles. Do you need special training or are there special requirements? I would expect that it should all be the same, but to be honest, I don’t know and can’t seem to find much information anywhere!

Police vehicles I know must be repaired in official workshops, where they count with qualified personnel. I’d advise you to try and find the workshops that operate around your area and contact them directly, they should be able to give you some guidance. Better still, you can contact a college offering service and maintenance technician courses and ask them how you can go about it…
