Real Estate

Careers in real estate involve the sale and purchase of land or any buildings situated on a particular piece of land. In the United Kingdom, ‘real estate’ an American term, is commonly known simply as property. Most professionals in real estate work for estate agencies, helping potential sellers and buyers negotiate the best possible deals for their properties on a commission basis. Agents will advise on a practical valuation of the property for sale based on other similar properties within the area
Although most properties handled as real estate are private homes, some agents also specialise in valuations and sale of factories, offices, or other commercial premises. Estate agents work carefully with both sellers and buyers, taking into account the financial realities of both parties.
Real estate trainees usually do not need formal educational qualifications apart from GCSEs, and their beginning annual salaries ranges between £10,000 and £20,000. Senior workers can earn average salaries between £25,000 and £55,000 if aptitude is shown.
