Any relevant issues to keep in mind? Aurik Last updated by Sarah: 22-Dec-2017
I’d like to work in the UK and I’m aware that in order to do it I need to get a tier 2 sponsorship. Is there any aspect I should keep in mind? Is it complicated to get a sponsorship or are there any limits to it?

No limits to it really, but you must bear in mind that there is a national limit per year in the number of certificates of sponsorship that can be issued within a year. In other words, the way I see it is the earlier in the year you apply, the better. This wouldn’t apply if your salary was +159k. There are many other considerations. I’d advise you to take a look at information on visas after studying, I checked several webs and found this very useful as a general guideline https://www.internationalstudents.cam.ac.uk/immigration/work-visas-after-study
