I've had a C1 drivers license for a number of years and would like a little change. Cranes interest me. As far as I know, I can drive a mobile crane (up to 7.5 tonnes) with my C1 license, but for heavier cranes I need to take a C license. Recently somebody told me the requirements have changed and my C1 serves both purposes. Does anybody know if this is so? Thanks!

No, up to 7.5 tonnes you need a C1, for over 7.5 you still need a C.
