  My whole life I've been an animal lover. I've always had pets and I've always had a good response from them as well as from those of others. I'd love a job dealing with animals and I wonder whether I need some college course in some area in the lines of animal care to be eligible for a job as Animal Care Assistant. Could somebody advise?

    I've always loved animals myself, and I know what you're talking about. In fact you don't need specific qualifications, sometimes you may be asked to have qualifications like GCSEs. Experience working with animals will always be a plus. I gained some of my experience (asides from with my own pets) by doing voluntary work, and it helped me because it gave credibility to my experience claim.

      I was never asked for any qualifications, just general knowledge about animals and provable experience.

    My ideal job is an animal care job, somewhere outside surrounded by nature where I can get hands on with animals of all species and sizes
