Interested in Care Hanna Last updated by Megan: 06-Apr-2017
I've worked as a babysitter for more than 5 years and I've always enjoyed it. In one of the houses I also helped a bit with an elderly relative that lived with them.

I'm no longer a young adolescent and I'd like to try and get a proper job, part time, while I continue with my studies. Do I need to take any training courses?-
Megan:
If you have previous experience of some sort, you may not be requested to take any courses, though I'd advise you to take some care certificate.

And have you any idea of the wages I can expect?

It must be some 12k to 25k depending on experience. It'll also vary depending on location, like with everything else

btw, a reliable way to know is by checking several job postings. there's also a section in jobisjob called job trends which can be of use, or the national career service is another interesting source. Best.
